at first launch it was working well untill i tried to create a rofile, then "hl2.exe has stopped working" window appeared, and gmod has obviously crashed.
On all subsequent tries it was crashing after i pressed the enable button.
I have reinstaled Visual C++ redistributables for Visual Studio 2012 stated in FAQ, but the game still crashes.
Have you got any ideas what may be wrong?
Exact same problem.
It crashes when i press enable button. Although it didn't crashed when it didn't detect my camera.
(sry for my bad English)
What I did was:
1.Go to device manager,
2.Went under Sound, video and game controlers,
3.Right clicked and disabled CyberLink Webcam Sharing Center.
It works! Apparently this sort of webcam sharing centers and drivers alike block the webcamera to work properly with the mod.
Now I only tested this on one computer and I doubt that all computers have CyberLink but it is worth a try. Also I have a HP laptop if that is of any use to anyone.Im also not sure that this is a 100% fix or just a lucky break for me.And I have tried twice(re enabled Cyberlink driver and the mod didnt work again-disabeling again fixed it once more)and it works.
I hope this helps.
