since i made this thread i think i'll post the first report:

Navmesh needs updating. Nextbots can't reach certain areas of the map (eg: the presentation area/second floor and the pitfalls depths)

i think the pitfalls depths are because its technically not connected to the map at all, and i'm pretty sure the presentation area is accessible via nextbot.

i tested the presentation area and I confirmed that nextbots don't work there

the area right outside the threshold outpost isn't navmeshed either

I have both cs:s and cs:go

restarting my game didn't fix this

reinstalling the map didn't fix this

so yeah I don't know what's going on here

this is just speculation so I could be WILDLY wrong but the only idea I have is that the textures are trying to pull a normal map from where there isn't(?) one so instead it uses the missing texture checkerboard pattern and results in this effect

all depends on if no one else is having this issue though
