I’m not really new to the Wastes anymore, but I still enjoy reading guides, tips, beginner tricks, and all that stuff. This modpack is incredible — been playing it for a week now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well it’s put together.

That said… the way I play might be working against me a bit.
I go slow.
Small group . usually just 2-3 people.
No savescumming to fix mistakes.
No abuse of obvious balance exploits.
Just the honest experience of eating sand and learning from it.

And because of that, I’m constantly broke. I mean properly broke.
The most I ever had was around 80k cats after an insanely lucky run through some ruins near Obedience.
Outside of that? Empty pockets.

Right now I found my niche in hunting wildlife. Two crossbow users and one melee kiter pulling animals around. It works. Profit is… reasonable. But nowhere near enough to buy a house in any city.

So I’m thinking what;s the next step for a tiny, weak group like mine?
Get a pack bull and start trade runs?
Try bounty hunting?
We’re hte kind of squad that immediately turns around when we see three Skimmers on the horizon.

Also.. and this might be part of the problem - I feed my crew too well. I don’t buy cheap ration packs or cubes. Crab gohan, meat-and-veg dishes, shawarma… yeah, shawarma. I spoil my people. Maybe that’s where all the money goes.

Anyway, I’d appreciate any advice on stable early/mid-game income in this modpack for a slow-paced, small-group playstyle. Not looking for exploits — just something that fits the rhythm.
