sorry
it'd be great, if it was a bit more city like, filled out a bit, maybe instead of roads, its alleys and a street or two, buildings are taller, so maybe some apartments..
just would be kinda cool if you planned on making any similar maps. like a sort of night time alley way next to a street or two, with apartments, a store, maybe a police station for the combine(a combine-ified version maybe lol) thats a bit more packed and less open as this one, but still quite a bit to look at and do, but not TOO cramped.
From the suggestions I'm planning to do something like an underground shelter, which contains different segments like a policestation with a middle core part which has a really special layout (weird architecture). Above the shelter is a snowstorm which will slowly deal damage. The underground part is easier to optimize then an open map without much world geometry, so there won't be big buildings. But there will be appartments etc.. Also I'm looking forward to support the "gm_npcshelter" map after it's released (Adding stuff, changing things and fixing issues)
I'm still reading the comments, but my focus is more on mapping and playing games. I hope you can understand that mapping, planning and playtesting takes alot of time and motivation.
