Like, in the show they would use authorization codes, but there is nowhere to put that in. I've also tried Ejecting the core (for some reason) and nothing's working. Is the Self destruct done by non-canon means? If that's so, I'm never finding it...

The morse code can be translated, they're codes I just haven't figured out how to put it to use.
