shadows either look really bad or are non-existent.
what the title says, not much else to say. i'll put a few photos if you can tell how to fix.

ah, if you read the faq you would know, but since you're here i'll tell you
Make sure your gmod settings shadow quality is set to high, if you cannot enable high shadows launch gmod with "-force_vendor_id 0x10DE -force_device_id 0x1180"

i did read, and my graphics have always been at max. this does not do anything though.

try set r_flashlightdepthres to 4096, and also make sure r_shadows is set to 1

i have them on high, and i've even tried the launch options. not sure why this is being such a pain.

yeah those dynamic shadow launch options dont work anymore and i already have shadows to max, nothing works.
