Cheers!
Since I was deep diving into all known royal court mods on steam and other platforms, I might offer you a solution for royal court weddings from other rulers.
I‘ll let you know if my theory did work out.
Could you elaborate? Do you want to include the spouse reception?
Also you did not answer my question if the spouse perspective events can ever be seen by the player :P
Re the court scenes - right now they start at the "at the altar" event, but the first event that really places you *in* the room is the spouse reaction events. So I'm going to try and make the court scene trigger around there.
After some testing I can now confirm that my theory does work, which means not only is it possible to "imitate" other lord's courts, but also create dfferent scenes with camera perspectives around it.
It works by not editing the existing rooms (like Simple Wedding does), but by creating new rooms (like CFP does) in two variants (own wedding hall and foreign wedding hall) and triggering them to appear when a character has the fitting flag set ( like "foreign_wedding_andalusian").
The room would be a granduer level 3 copy of each culture's court without artifacts displayed, since you are not really in the other lord's court but changed your court to change its look, which means it would still display your artifacts.
This allows you to freely configure character positions, cameras etc.
I'll try to upgrade my compatch mod to include these changes, then it will be easier for you to integrate it into your mod.
