This might not be the right place to ask, but whenever 1 of the bots pick up a chainsaw it gets very loud, even when they aren't holding it. That normal?

No, this only edits chainsaws to be marked as a melee weapon, you may have some kind of mod that edits the chainsaw, even then it will only conflict with this mod if it edits the weapon_chainsaw.txt.

I just checked and there's no other addon or script/sound pack changin the chainsaw. It just sounds like they're constantly holding LMB with it even when it's not equipped. Weird. Should i delete weapon_chainsaw.txt and let it recreate itself?

Validating you game files might fix the problem, you can delete the weapon_chainsaw.txt before doing it.

Also make sure that sb_melee_approach_victim is set to 1 that may also fix your problem

Yes, it should since it only edits the weapon_chainsaw.txt to mark it as a melee weapon.
