Missions Chapter 1 1914 (Status: Completed)
So this is going to be the official Discussion where Missions are going to be Revealed for the Art of War Mod, be advised this is the real life World War I this is alternate history on how the American Civil War of Confederate Conquest would have changed America's role in the world, had it lasted beyond 4 years and ended in 1883. Some missions will be edited versions of other missions that have been created by someone else, but they will proudly be credited in the description below as the true Mission makers.

Missions that are created by me, will no longer have objectives, but will be explained through story wise, when one is waiting for the missions to load in the loading screen.

Now that, this is out of the way time to list the missions down below.

----Mission List----
Act 1: August 3rd Southern Invasion of France: August 3rd, 1914- September 3rd, 1914

1. First ones in France, August 3rd, 1914~ Over 2 and a half months after the assassination of Franz Ferdinand on June 28th, 1914, war has been declared between Austria and Serbia, by August of that same year, Germany declares war on France, after France refuses to allow German forces to move through Belgium, on August 3rd, 1914 the very day that Germany Declared War on France, August 3rd would also be the first day that the United States would also declare war on France, but become the first to attack them, just one day before the German Empire crossed the border. Cross the Border and enter the Munns Province, and lead the strike force into France in order to establish a foothold for our forces, and eventually Germany.

2. Battle of Biel, August 13th, 1914~ While rapidly gaining ground both Germans and Americans move through France from both the North and South, leading up tot he Battle of the Frontiers on August 7th, 1914, during the course of this engagements, the Americans begin their advance toward Reims while the Germans make their way toward Paris, but during the time of this offensive, French forces entrench themselves at Biel, with some of their most heavy artillery in hopes of blocking the Americans from advancing any closer to Reims. Arrive in Southern Biel, and establish a foothold for our forces in the early morning, in order to surprise the French forces.

3. Siege of Labru, August 20th, 1914~ The British Empire has declared war on the United States following its initial success on the Biel Province, but the situation remains unchanged for the Central Powers, as the Battle of the Frontiers continues on, the Central Power advance into France is stalled, not only in Eastern France but North in Belgium as well with German forces laying Siege to Numar, along side Lorraine in France. During the course of this, the Americans were also stalled at Labru, in Southern France, where since August 17th, 1914, the French have beaten back 3 waves of American attacks including a 4th wave, and 5th wave, now with US Armor being sent North in order to try and aide the Germans, the Americans in Southern France have no other option but to put their 6th and last reserve out against the French defenses at Labru. Take control of the 6th wave and launch an armored attack against the French defenses at Labru, and crush the region before the French can organize a counter offensive.

4. One Bloody Night, August 22nd, 1914~ After having to suffer a severe blow at Labru, French forces prepare for a final ray of defenses along the French Frontiers, but the situation still hasn't changed as both sides were still locked in a stalemate, however American forces have devised plans on Operation Nautilus and offensive that is set for August 23rd, 1914 in hopes of breaking through the French lines and ending the stalemate, but the British and French have their own plans of an attack as well. Find out what your Commanding Officer needs from both you and your second in Command, and conduct whatever it is that needs to be done, so that you both can have a well deserved sleep.

5. Operation Nautilus. August 23rd, 1914~ Despite the attack on the night of August 22nd, 1914, Operation Nautilus was unleashed as scheduled against the French city of Melan. While the Germans concentrate on Mons to the North, the Americans close in on Melan from both East and North, the entire fate of the Battle of the Frontiers rests on both this battle and Mons to the North, if the Central Powers slip past even one of these cities, the entire Defense line of the Frontiers will crumble and both Britain and France would have nu other choice but to retreat back to Paris. Hit the outer defenses from the Northern Front and break open the French's outer defenses on the suburbs of Melan and force your way into the city limits.

6. Ruins of Melan, August 23rd, 1914~ As Operation Nautilus continued on into the City of Melan, the French this time reinforced by British Expeditionary forces struggle to hold the city as best as they can from the American attack, despite a small flaw in the US's progress the Americans are more determined then ever before to secure Melan and finally breach the Frontier Defenses once and for all. Clear out the ruins of Melan, and take over the city in order to completely breach and destroy the Frontier lines, and force the British and French back to Paris.

7. Gozalia Railroad Junction, August 24th, 1914~ Melan has fallen, along with Mon to the North, the Frontier Lines has been completely smashed, and the French are in full blow retreat back to both Paris and Reims, while the British struggle to hold back both Americans and Germans as they inch closer and closer toward both Paris and Reims, but constant delays caused by the British counterattacks further halts progress of the Central Powers forcing the US to come up with a new strategy in order to use the French Railway system in order to bypass the British forces and speed ahead of the retreating French forces on the way to Reims in order to block them. Take control of the Gozalia Railroad Junction so that the entire site can be fitted with our trains, that could prove useful in the future, and allow us to quickly race past the retreating French Forces and beat them to their destinations.

8. Battle of Galagus, August 27th, 1914~ Following the arrival of American made trains from overseas, on August 27th, 1914, the US travel through Southern France using the Railway system as a way to catch up against the retreating French forces where they are able to secretly race past them and arrive at Galagus, a small province along the Tiani River, just minutes ahead of the French retreat. Having to be fitted with American made Civil War Era M1883s, and German made 15 cm schwere Feldhaubitze 13 Howitzers, the US prepare to ambush the French forces retreating from the front-line, when they arrive in the area, about 20 miles East of Reims. Attack and secure the Galagus Hill region across the river, and fortify the junction and await the French forces who are in retreat, then surprise them once they reach the landscape.

9. Satan's Thorn Bush, August 30th, 1914~ Despite massive success behind French Lines, the situation turns slightly against the Americans when French officials blow up a vital railway bridge, preventing the Americans from crossing or advancing any closer to Reims through railway systems, and instead sends them to return back to their own front, however, while returning back towards their front lines to the East they end up coming face to face with French forces who have dug in at the abandoned Napoleonic City of Te-Latoof, where unknown to the Americans a heavy fight awaited them, with France's own surprise. Move through the Neutral Zone, and reach the town of Te-Latoof, and occupy the town so that our perimeter can be further expanded in Southern France.

10. Fall of Vielville, September 2nd, 1914~ The British are proving day after day to be a huge thorn in the Central Powers side, as they constantly hammer both American and German forces preventing them from advancing any closer towards either Reims or Paris. In a last attempt in order to finally end the British's attempts at stalling out the Central Power advance, both Berlin and Washington agree on one thing, Vielvill, as attacking the city of Vielville in Southern France would finally cut the supplies to British forces and finally allow the Central Powers to start advancing again, however, little do the Americans know, is that Britain is not the only ones defending the town. Attack Vielville and destroy the Hub of British Supplies and force the Empire to finally call off their counterattacks against not only our forces, but Germany as well in the North.

11. Siege of Thresa, September 3rd, 1914~ Despite the loss of Vielvill, the British continue to mount desperate stall tactics against both the German Empire and Americans, in both North and South France, however, in between both Central Power controlled territories in South-central France, the Americans were able to lose control of the City of Thresa during the time of these Desperate British Attacks, leaving the location locked down in a stalemate with Howitzers facing one another. For 2 days neither side was able to attack the other mainly due to the risk of heavy losses, but on September 3rd, 1914, British forces were able to cross the Rova River, and enter the American side, however due to the loss of Vielvill a day earlier the British Offensive was forced to stop not far from the Bridgehead, now the Americans plan to launch a counterattack of their own in hopes of crossing the Rova and ending the British once and for all. Cross the River and enter the town of Thresa and reclaim what the British had counter attacked 2 days earlier, and force the Empire from the region entirely.

Act 2: First Battle of The Marne: September 5th, 1914 - September 12th, 1914

12. 12 Miles from the Marne, September 8th, 1914~ Accepting the proposal from German Spectator during the Siege of Thresa, General Pershing allowed a small force of Americans to head North in a bold attempt to aide the German Empire in their advance toward Paris, while the majority of their troops continued to focus on the initial drive toward Reims. Reaching the Marne River on the 6th of September multiple skirmishes between French and German forces engaged in a series of skirmishes along the Marne, but the majority of the German Attack force has not yet entered the area, due to one last obstacle being in their path, that last obstacle, being the Town of Gazel, located about 12 miles from the Marne, and is also the official spot where the American forces sent by General Pershing is set to arrive on September 8th, 1914. Aide the German Empire with your forces in the drive against Gazel and crush the last French line of defense leading up to the Marne River.

13. The Crossing of the Marne, September 10th, 1914~ Gazel has been smashed, and the Entente forces combined of both British and French forces now concentrate on the majority of their forces along the Marne River. Breach the Entente defenses and cross the Marne at Lagny in the South while the bulk of the German forces engage in the Northern portions of the Marne River, a victory here could lead to a severe Breach in the Entente Marne Defenses, and could also mean an open road for the German Empire to enter Paris and a sudden end to the War in Western Europe. Smash through the French and British fortifications using the superior firepower of American armor, and secure the Fords and open up a defense in the Entente Lines.

14. Battle of Lemro, September 12th, 1914~ You have successfully Crossed the Marne, and now General Helmuth von Moltke the Younger wishes for you to press your Attack South, where you and your men have occupied the French Village of Lemro just a few miles South of Marne River a day later on September 11th, 1914. However, despite this moment of success Entente counbter attacks have increased since the Crossing and the British Royal Navy has blockaded the Eastern Seaboard of the United States, turning the tide of the war temporarily against the Central Powers, and leaving most German forces stranded on the opposite side of the Marne River. Now, that you are the only forces across the River, the Schlieffen plan is set to continue as scheduled, and you must force your way through the final French Lines outside of Lemro, where a victory here, could lead to the collapse of the Marne defenses and straight shot toward Paris.

15. Retreat from the Marne, September 15th, 1914~ Alfred von Schlieffen's Plan has failed, leading to the devastating loss of the Marne River when British Reinforcements arrived from the nation of Great Britain, which in turn turn the tide of the Central Power Invasion of France in favor of the Allies. American and German forces now rapidly retreat as the British and French coalition forces slowly begin to reclaim the lands lost in August, while hoping to make it to the town of Reno in hopes of regrouping and coordinating a much more effective defense. However with the allied forces rapidly right behind, American and German forces must halt their retreat in order to hold the Reno River, in order to buy time for its own forces to escape to the town of Reno, before they are caught by the Allied counteroffensive. Hold the Highway for as long as possible until ordered by your German Officer to leave the area.

Act 3: Pag Island Campaign: September 15th, 1914 - October 2nd, 1914

16. Clash in the Balkans, September 21st, 1914~ Over a week following the failure of the Schlieffen Plan, and the crushing defeat which occurred at the Marne River. Central Power forces in Western Franc now find themselves fighting a defensive war against the combined forces of French and British Imperial forces, while the United States Eastern Seaboard had also been blockaded by the British Royal Navy back on September 10th, 1914. Though the Germans had lost a majority of the ground that they have taken at the height of August 1914, the Untied States due to its technological advances were able to maintain its ground on the areas they control around Southern France, but are slowly running out of resources as the days went by. New supplies and reinforcements were supposed to arrive from the Austrian Hungarian Empire, once the American Transports were to dock on the Island of Pag in the Balkans within the nation of Croatia, but they never arrived, along with your second in command. Venture into the Balkans of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and find out what became of your shipment, and why your supplies have not reached Southern France after over a week.

17. Smashed Communications, September 22nd, 1914~ The situation on Pag has gotten more grievous then previously thought. Using the captured American equipment salvaged from the Veracosta Deployment area, the Kingdom of Serbia was able to take over vast amounts of territories around the Island, almost completely destroying the Pag Island defenses, and occupying almost 59 percent of the Island, while at the same time conducting a scorched Earth policy with the intent of keeping the Invasion hidden from the Austrian-Hungarian Mainland. However while searching for the POW's who were taken from Veracosta, the group of survivors decide to instead stop their advance in a hold attempt to try and find a way to call for help from the Austrian-Hungarian mainland. Venture into the forest with your men, and find a way to warn Vienna of the Serbian Attack on Pag Island, before the Kingdom of Serbia wipes out the last of the Telegraph lines and cuts off the Island from the entire Austrian-Hungarian Empire.

18. Erisckzon Breakout, September 22nd, 1914~ Communications have been established, and the Austrian Hungarian Empire has completely been alerted and began a full fledge counter offensive against Pag Island, but Captain Johnathan Connor, your second in command is still under the custody of the Serbians, Force your way into Erisckzon Prison within the Town of Erickson and free Connor and the survivors of the Vercosta Coast Massacre.

19. Battle of Veracosta, September 27th, 1914~ The Serbians have been pushed from the Island and are now trapped along the coast of Pag Island. Re-Enter the Veracosta Coastline, break through the Serbian defenses, and retake what is yours, before the Royal Navy can open up a path through the Austrian-Hungarian Blockade.

20. Cecil Ridge Breakthrough, September 29th, 1914 ~ Your Supplies have been liberated, and the war is going badly against the Serbians, as they are now trapped within the city of Contas on the coast of Pag Island. In order to eliminate the Serbians from the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, the United States have come up with a mass offensive in order to strike the city from both the North and South, with the Austrian-Hungarian Empire coming from the South, and the United States coming from the North, the Serbians have mustered up what little supplies that they have left including many from the American Shipment before Veracosta was retaken, and have now created a strong defense perimeter around the entire city, little do they know is that one section of the Northern defenses are weak and can be broken through which would cause the Serbian Conta defense perimeter to fall apart. Assault Cecil Ridge, and break open the Serbian defense perimeter in the North, and hold the area until reinforcements can arrive.

21. Assault on Contas, October 2nd, 1914~ The Serbians are surrounded, and are completely cut off from the Sea, and are now endanger of being destroyed from a crushing American and Austrian-Hungarian Counter offensive. Enter the ruins of Contas and destroy the Serbian forces in order to end the War on Austrian-Hungarian Soil, once and for all, while also holding the honor of testing a new and improved armored car that was once apart of the shipment from the States.

Act 4: Autumn Offensive: November 15th, 1914 - November 18th, 1914

22. The Autumn Offensive, November 15th, 1914~ One Month has past and the war has reached a Stalemate, with neither Nations of either the Entente or Central Powers able to gain the initiative, however, the Wilson Administration in Washington DC would go on to devise the Autumn Offensive, a new offensive strategy that would be seen as another shot at Reims. However, due to delays and constant attacks by British and French forces, the attempt to strike Reims was eventually temporarily called off, and most of the offensive was now focused on the coastal town of Peon along the French Southern Riveria. You must enter No Mans Land, and open up the Northern front of the American Armies that are planning to attack in order to advance on the town, while you and your forces strike the town from another direction. You will be the first army in the entire war to launch a full scale offensive, into No Mans Land that might officially break the Stalemate, and tip the balance of power once again to the Central Powers.

23. Attack on Peon, November 18th, 1914~ The Ancient Port City of Peon is now surrounded, Converge on the city from the Northeast, while the rest of your forces advance from the direct North. This City has a lot more history then previously anticipated, as the French forces that arrived in the United States a century before in 1872 during the time of the American Civil War, had originated from this city. It is a pity France had betrayed us in the fall of that century, and that we have to attack the very city, that hit the Confederacy from the Atlantic front back in 1872 in the 20th Century.

Act 5: Operation Norway: December 24th, 1914 - December 25th, 1914 (Last Act of 1914)

24. Operation Norway, December 24th, 1914~ Though a Neutral Country, rumor has it that unspecified materials has been arriving on the Eastern Front as the first year of the First World War draws to a close. The United States Government had previously came up with plans to Invade and occupy Norway, but the plans were scrapped, and later replaced with the events of Operation Norway. Take control of the worlds first Airborne attack Infantry, and attack Norway at night in order to locate the location of the factory, before the Norwegian people figure out what is going on.

25. Attack on Ravkiaka, December 25th, 1914~ The men of the 91st have regrouped with the G-13 Transport planes in a field just North of the Village of Ravkiaka, You must attack and occupy the nearby Village in order to discover the location of the Factory, as the nation of Norway is well aware of your presence in their country and is rushing their Army toward your location as we speak. Attack the Village of Ravikiaka and locate the entrance to the Norwegian Factory, before the Norwegian Army enters the region.

26. Storming The Factory, December 25th, 1914~ War has ripped the surface apart, and time is running out, the Norwegians have entered the Ravkiaka Region as the men of the 91st Sky Battalion fight to hold onto the region. Descend into the hidden underground factory below the region, and assault the site, be swift and quick, before the 91st Sky Battalion becomes overrun on the Surface.

27. Norwegian Exodus, December 25th, 1914~ Though the underground Factory has been spared Demolition, the documents that you acquired from the Foundry alone is evidence of Norway's hidden efforts in supplying the Entente Powers on the Eastern Front. Fight your way through what is left of the Ravkiaka Region and make your way back to the G-13s and escape the nation, before the Norwegians overrun and take over the landing zone. Once those documents have been acquired, the Norwegians will have no other choice but to either cease their involvement in the war entirely or be stripped of its title as a Neutral Nation and face Invasion from a Central Power Nation. Get yourself back to the G-13s and get out of Norway and return to Germany with the Documents so you can finally have the rest that you deserve and your second in command can at last achieve back in Southern France at Fort Marrien for the rest of the month.
