Thats not this mod, the problem is that the "Avali Species & Empires" only is bounded with "Avali Static Portraits 1.2" they are completly outdated. So if you dont like the fact you can rebuild the two empires with this mod only. :marten_sip:

EDIT: Problem solved, just dowgraded Stellaris to 3.4.5.

So I've been noticing a weird issue with these portraits, I believe I'm having something similar to that of Lunas' issue and I tried all sorts of methods and removed some mods here and there that would likely effect this, but so far each attempt has been met with failure and no resolution, I really would like to use this in 3.5.

Has there been any update thats resolved this or will I have to revert back to the previous version?

It sounds ridiculus but before you select the avali, you need to use an other vanilla race that doesnt have an hair section, there is some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with olds mod (because of the auto fill option from stellaris)

But i will try to fix it this week, I already find an "maybe" solution for that :marten_sip:

I'm having an issue with the Flags of the Avali. Every time i reload a game that had the Avali as the starting race, their flags changes to a copletely random one. i tried run only this mod but it seems only the avali flags have this issue.

what do you mean with reload?

I updated it now to 3.7.2 so pls try it again, i cant reproduce your issue :x

So I created a Empire that utilizes the Avali Portrait, name list and its custom flag category. When I launch a new game with an Avali Empire everting is normal. But for some reason if I reload the last save file of Said Empire their flag has changed to a random one and they remain stuck with that for some reason I can't quite figure out . The flags of my Avali Empire seem cursed XP. Idk if I'm the only one having this visual bug of the flag, but I will try to give more details about this if I can find more clues.

How old is that savegame?

The save game was from just before 3.7 was released.
I had only the Gigastructure mod and a couple of other music mod active.

However I alredy fixed the issue by re-subscribing again to the updated Avali mod 3.7.2.

The mod dosn't appear to be conflicting with anything right now so i guess my previous save files with the cursed flags must have been corrupted for some reason, but now everything is fine :)

Since i'm here I wanted to thank you for keeping this mod updated, I Love the Aveli Species and I hope to see more added to it in the future!

I play my self with some trys to add some building designs and backgrounds :marten_sip:

If an Avali empire is randomly generated, the species name is left blank and the Empire name usually has a missing word.

The error log gives an error for every line in the species_names file:
[22:32:18][species.cpp:206]: Error: Name list for species Avali could not be read Reason: Invalid Species Class! common/species_names/avali_species_names.txt(5)

I think this happens because the species_names entry is named "Avali", but the avali species class defined by the mod is in allcaps ("AVALI"); If I change the species_names entry to allcaps, the errors dissapear and the random names appear to work correctly.
