for somereason if i start a world the draw on the map thing it covers all of the icons that i can write down isnt it supposed to be on the bottom idk if im missing something its on the top fro somereason

Sounds like a mod conflict, could you provide a mod list for me to check through?
i use extra map symbols and map legend ui

Extra Map Symbols is 2 mods:
'Extra Map Symbols'
'Extra Map Symbols UI'

Disable 'Extra Map Symbol UI'
I'm still working on compatibility with it.
free hand and free eraser doesnt work after exiting the map once
then it tells you that you need a pen/eraser
i only have two other mods running and theyre simple once and im on the unstable version, the newest one

What are the mod names?
I can draw on the map perfectly, but when I close the map and open again, the line thickness is like a block wide. I'm using the "Shared Faction/Coop Map Symbols" mod btw, idk if that's conflicting

For some reason when i draw on small thickness, and then re-enter the map, it creates a thick mess, like i drew it on max thickness

Shared Faction/Coop Map Symbols is incompatible.
It causes the issue by not considering scale while performing it's logic, resizing all symbols to a scale of x1.

I cannot fix this on my end.

The eraser function needs to be improved. You can do a test, when you have drawn quite a lot, it is almost impossible to quickly erase them, because the erasing will enter a rather tortured process. It's just a step-by-step erase like 'Redo'. So its function should be the same as the eraser in Photoshop, when the size is set, it can truly 'Free' erase all pixels within the size.

I can upgrade it again, but increasing the size is a SIGNIFICANT performance cost due to how the map works internally. Maybe I can give it a size slider...
Any tips please. I subbed your mod but it doesn't appears in my game. Literally nothing changes. Mb there is option I need to turn on or how it works? (I don't have any other map mods, only vehicles)

Yes, eraser need a slider like brush. And the point is that its function requires a large area to be quickly erased. Otherwise, it would take several game hours in-game to erase a heavily drawn map without using the 'Real Time' mod, which seems too unreal. 😂
