Here of same issue! In my case, ctd occur when I put the skill points to chopper thing

I also get a ctd whenever I hover over his "Trollhammer Upgrade" skill.

Not sure if there's been a patch but a functional work around is just to disable him in the MCM which removes him from the game entirely. It sucks cause you lose a LL but it prevents him from bricking a save.

In my case you can still play with him, as long as you dont try to select the "Trollhammer upgrade" in the skill tree. But thats not a good solution :-) an update would be fine :-)

I can see him at the selector but when i start the game i just have 2 general lords without faction effects, maybe they disabled him looking at the many report :/
