The Japanese Communist Party has a pretty comfy looking logo, and a bunch of mascots. Among these mascots are Gamagu-chan, a purse who represents folks living paycheck to paycheck, and Tawara Kometaro, an anthropomorphic hay bale who loves Japanese food, culture, and anime.

Also, there's plenty of factions from Gundam to mine for symbols. Even if you just stick to the Universal Century timeline, you'll end up with a lot to choose from. If you went through some 80's and 90s anime, you'd probably also find some works with factions which jump out at you as being ideal for representation in Rimworld. Fang Of The Sun Dougram and Irresponsible Captain Tylor were both good, there's probably some stuff there that can be used too..
