Save data failure
The map checkpoints don't persist across loads on Steam v2.55 (Proton 9.0-4 but same game files as Windows). It looks like the relevant line from the logs file is:

Thanks for the feedback! Persisting checkpoints between sessions is currently not a feature implemented in the map.

Oh, my mistake. I started investigating since I thought it was a Proton issue then commented here since the log made it look like it might be an EGS vs Steam executable issue.

Thank you for the map, it's been fun.
