I have a conveyor-engine feed it directly but it is not building up anything in its storage (always 0/1000t gravel), it seems to just accept enough as it needs.
I will try it in an other setup again :-)
I try it in a new game.
BUT i have an upgrade for you (i played with the building.ini a bit)
if you add following lines:
$STORAGE_EXPORT RESOURCE_TRANSPORT_WATER 50.00
and switch an sewage outlet to a water one:
$CONNECTION_WATERPIPE_OUTPUT
45.0000 -3.45 -21.0000
45.0000 -3.45 -9.0000
you get fresh water from it too :-)
(i jumpstarted a small city with a well and it is seem to work, except the sewage export tank is always empty..)
The truck drove to the unloading spot and without doing anything back out of the building (then immediatelyback in the water treatment -> stuck in a loop)
I tried to fiddle with the building.ini file again and i think i found a solution (at least it works for now)
I replaced the line
$STORAGE_IMPORT RESOURCE_TRANSPORT_GRAVEL 1000.00
with
$STORAGE RESOURCE_TRANSPORT_GRAVEL 1000
But i still have to test if it was the ".00" or the "_IMPORT" part what worked
This indeed make it work thank you so much for that
So i have confirmed it works in the last patch rebuild you building to fix it
