Radious Total War Mod - Part 1
Vampire counts feel a lot undertuned.
Before I continue Please know I understand this is just my opinion, Thank your for the mod I have been enjoying it.

I am running turn 98 as Vampire counts on Very Hard Difficulty campaign and every one else vastly outscales VC units.

I get that I am supposed to use Numbers and Magic to overwhelm the enemy, I have about 1/3 the world drowned in blood and am Definitely winning, but it feels not great balance wise.

I am playing with the Optional Better veterans mod/ Better Camera but other than that just the Radious base mods.

Problems I have been having:

A: Wind of death used to be my go to spell, but it does almost nothing and is expensive still. Like it underperforms so much, Maybe give it AP or more damage or both?

B: My unit upgrades are just straight not worth it,
1: Calvary, Blood Knights are better than Drakenhoff/Black Grail knights simply because they have The Hunger and magical attacks, the stat changes are not even close to worth it.

2: Infantry, Guards of the counts(Spears) are better than almost all of the other infantry units. Their only real upgrade is Dismounted Blood knights and that is still a toss up based on stats on whether it is worth it for the cash.
---Frostbite is doing nothing at these levels, it is by no means making the Infantry units more worthwhile.
---Hexraith calvary is not worth it at all.
------My solution, Give some stat boosts to the tier 4 and 5 units. Maybe add Magical attacks to some of them.

C: Mornguls/Archers take way too much damage in autoresolve for no reason. I just had a full army with 14 Front line 5 Sylvanian Archers and 2 Calv Lose all the archers to literally 1 Dwarf lord 1 Infantry and 1 Flame cannon. Like no, I definitely will fight that battle out.

D: late game all my units are completely outscaled, Dismounted Drakenhoff Templars are worse than some of the tier 4 or even tier 3 infantry of other factions. IE Skaven Dwarf/Chaos Dwarf. If I do not have spells and winds of magic I am just screwed. I get Numbers and lords, but why are skaven doubling my stats :|

E: Compare my Tier 5 unit Terrogeist to a Chaos Dwarf Tier 5 mortar, it is not even close to the combat effectiveness. Maybe Dreadquakes are overtuned by a lot or terrorgeists just kind of suck and it is Still my only reasonable response to massed dreadquakes.

F: I have no problem with Skeleton archers, but Sylvanian archers being tier 4 is a LIE. A dirty Filthy Lie! Skaven are spamming 90 armor(40 more armor than mine have) higher range 89AP blackclaws or whatever and I am stuck with glorified tier 2 archers that need TWO Tier 4 Buildings to build and still only deal 29 damage(8AP) and also they are not very accurate and I can no longer heal them. Like its not even close. I get that I have 30~ more entities per unit but there is still a difference of over half damage(2900 vs 6000+). I just think the Sylvanian Archers could use some love.
---Sub plot, I know I can do this with other mods easily but can we just change the limitation on Handgunners and crossbowmen? Like just let us Vlad recruit them from a regular military building instead of needing to ROR them especially considering they are worse for the VC than ranged are for other factions. ANd maybe give us some Decent ROR Ranged units for fun.
----Sub sub plot, Maybe make the upgrades for living infantry global skills from Blood Kiss Von Carstein Lords.


G: This might be universal to the other races, but building upgrades are hella expensive, and as VC there is no reason to upgrade any city past tier 3 aside from new recruitment hubs and Landmarks. So maybe some cost reductions on city upgrades would be worthwhile for VC.
