Hyperspace Beacon Question
How do you use the Hyperspace Beacons? What are the criteria for setting them up? I have 2 beacons currently that are set very far apart from each other, as I assumed the beacons would auto connect to each other. But it says I can't use them because they have nowhere to go. Do I need to build them closer together?

You can set them up everywhere. For upgrade them to tier2 the beacon need to be on a major traderoute. Every System with a hyperspace beacon will connect to any neighbouring hyperspace beacon system in your empire (connected via hyperlane)

The beacons are not portals, they need to be setup next to each other
