You should use mat_specular 0, I use it for fps but I see the map need it anyways.

Make sure you're not compiling in fast mode, as that can cause weird issues like this.

There's a prop in the skybox that's casting a huge shadow on the ground, disable shadows on skybox props, it'll even help bring compile times down.

And turning random brushes into func_details while leaving out other parts fools hammer into thinking the inside faces should be drawn, this will kill performance and extend your compile times.
