I tried it and killed it 2 times. With deer and without any and I didn't crash. I don't think it has to do anything with that. It might be another mod you have causing it.

If I understand you correctly, are you asking if I have any idea why it works that way? If so, it seems to me that DST can't handle that many hits, because apart from Rushia I've only used 2 mods Show Me (Origin) and Health Info, that's my only guess (Translated with DeepL, sorry for possible mistakes)
