Guadiana River
I'm struggling with this mission. I tried a couple of things and I'm getting closer to solving it, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to deal with the overstrength and technologically superior tanks in the later part of the mission, nor the bunkers. I can slowly grind down the tanks, with tac bombers and artillery and AT and so on, but it takes ages and they can just heal most of it in one turn and sit in favorable terrain.
I guess one could bait them into the city and kill them there, but I'm not even getting into the city, cause the bunkers cannot be hurt by anything I have.

So I'm rather frustrated right now and would appreciate some advice.

Hello, there was a script that was supposed to spawn guardia civil units (the nationalist engineers). But you can go behind the city crossing the Guadiana River and attacking them from behind. Maybe we can adjust the rewards to give the player some Flamethrower tanks.

One of my tanks reached the outskirts and it did spawn two Guardia Civil units, but they're immediately encircled and hence quickly exhausted and useless.

And I have not been able to take the city from behind, as mentioned above, because I fail to find a way to handle the sheer volume of overstrengthed and superior tanks of which one already can block the whole nothern side of the river.

Though honestly the worst part are the bunkers, as I can not destroy them, but the AI constantly commits suicide by trying to attack them.

This scenario is not really that hard. Yes you do have to help out the Allied AI a bit. Try to take out the bunkers with the AT units and a tactical bomber. It is hard to get behind the city so without expert tactics it is easier to do a frontal assault. This version is much easier in my opinion that the Axis Operations version in Spanish Civil War.

They all do 0 damage. Not 100% on the AT, but my tac bombers do nothing. Don't think I didn't try. Even fully suppressed no one gets a hit in.
Also didn't say it was hard, I said I was struggling and asked for advice.
Either way, I'm still taking too much time.
