Fully upgraded pistol when starting a new game after arcadia bug
I started a new game after experiencing the no weapons bug in frolic and noticed that the pistol now has the laser on it. I know this probably isn't an issue for everybody but I really don't like having the laser on the pistol(it is very non realistic and doesn't behave like a real laser sight so I prefer just using the iron sights or the optical sight). Is there any way you could leave it so we have the option to upgrade it but it is not there by default when loading a new game on that level? I would welcome other opinions on this if I am the only one who doesn't like it

I found in another steam thread ( psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/546560/discussions/0/2143091389819951924/) the following information:

You can use console commands to spawn a pistol into your game, which has no upgrades. Then pick it up with your weapon hand empty and it'll become your new pistol (you'll lose your upgraded one so be cafeful).

You can also spawn those upgrade materials to "refund" your pistol unlocks. I just did this to get rid of my reflex sight and it worked!

@Dakusan thank you very much. I read in another thread that it could not be removed via console commands. Glad to see they were wrong.
