Not sure on the progress/development of this mod at this stage, but thought I'd still report it.
The cables are working relatively well except for that when a pilot decides to bail on an approach, if they fly over the cable with their tail hook down at even say....10-15m high, the cable grabs them and slams them into the flight deck.
Is this something that could be fixed? :)
I attempted a fix in https://tetet.de/arma/arma3/stuff/@Arresting%20Wires.zip The code now uses
modelToWorldVisual and getPosATLVisual - not sure if this now still works on the sea, but on land it seems to be nicer. Vertical distance is set to 2 meter.
Would you be able to update the mod with the changes before the weekend please?
Otherwise are you happy if I create a temporary version for our mission is 3 days?
