This guide will walk you through all necessary steps to get LWOTC working with RPGO and this mod.

1. If you are not already doing it: USE XCOM2 Alternative Mod Launcher!

2. Clean your active mod configuration (disable all mods and clear your mod directory)

You might want to backup your current mods and configuration!

This is the foundation mod list to make LWOTC and RPGO and their dependencies work. Activate all of them and start XCOM 2. You will get a warning about missing mods - THIS IS FINE, the mods the game is warning about are included in LWOTC! If the New Game button is replaced by one titled "Long War (LWOTC)" you should be good to go!.

This is my curated mod list to run RPGO along LWOTC.It includes all necessary mods to get LWOTC & RPGO running + almost all of the existing RPGO class mods.
AML will display missing dependencies. You can ignore these, the dependencies are included in LWOTC! It is of course possible to add and remove any cosmetic or quality of life mods! You can of course also remove any RPGO plugins that you do not like (e.g. you can safely remove the SuperSoldiers mod).

5. Enable all the mods in AML and start the game.

6. IMPORTANT: open the Mod config menu and disable every class except the universal soldier class from RPGO.

7. You should now be ready to start a LWOTC & RPGO campaign! Do not forget to set the correct Second Wave Options. Have fun!
