Can you tell me your specs and have you tried lowering settings/updating your GPU drivers? Any other mods you are running or things you're doing while playing Alyx?

i did lower but i still sometimes get 45 fps here but not in main game, im using fpsvr and their new windows11 fix in it if that helps which helps with performance a lot

Let's look for commonalities with specs as I had major crashing issues during playtesting. I have a RTX 2070 Super slightly overclocked with EVGA Precision, Ryzen-5 3600 overclocked to 4GHz, and 16GB of 3200 MHz RAM running with XMP enabled.

No crashes for me,just some performance lag near the end(which is likely due to my specs)but posting here for reference in case it helps to see specs. GTX 1070, 16 Gigs and intel I5. I have not updated the Nvidia drivers in a while however. I am still running version 30.0.14.9676.

I just played through it and had only one crash which was totally tolerable. Updating to the newest drivers and verifying my game cache may have helped.

Try not to overclock you CPU that causes bottlenecks and can induce crashing, also how did you enable XMP with a ryzen card? Under what setting was that, been searching for that for a while.

Until I overclocked I'd get stuttering on some custom maps like Gunman Contracts. I've played over 800 maps and this is the only one that gave me this issue.

XMP is a memory setting on your motherboard. You need to set it in the BIOS/UEFI. Depends on the motherboard you have so google the model number along with XMP and you should find your solution.

I read instructions I downloaded all files and depndencies and now it crash at the opening; I can't start the game

I'm crashing every single time I reload the mod tried several times always happens after my first death. I've reinstalled HLA the mod, dependancies. Erased all saves. I'm on the newest graphics driver. This DOES NOT happen in any other mod, HLA story or in any other game. I'm on Windows 10 and my specs are below.

Ryzen 5 5600x
32 GB RAM
RTX 2080 Super

for me it crashes mostly at random but now when i get to my first upgrade station it crashes immediately, i have the amd radeon rx 5600 xt. Can someone please help me, im really
bored and i want to play this map

Just can't get this to work without constantly crashing either :/. Turning it down to low settings doesn't even do the trick. On a 5900x/3080. Frustrating.

It crashes on me as soon as I load into the map. All required assets are downloaded. RTX 2080 8700k @ 5ghz No overclock on GPU. 16gb 3600mhz RAM Playing on Quest 2 via Virtual Desktop.
