Someone in the comments mentioned waypoints fading with distance. I'd love this feature as well. Maybe an option to set the distance for fading and the opacity for 'faded' waypoints?

So for example, you could set it to be 1000 meters, and then 20% opacity. That way you can still see all the ones you're looking for, but they're not overwhelming your screen.
