If you don't mind, maybe I can offer potential solutions;
You can actually link 2 (or more) zones together without the need of a trigger such as a door. Something like zm_zonemgr::add_adjacent_zone("start_zone", "zone1");
This should at least prevent issue #2.
Regarding issue #1, that's pretty strange...is there a gap in the zones where a door/debris ends and where the next zone starts?
I'm far from a pro in any of this, but I hope these offer a little bit of help. Good luck and keep mapping!
For issue #1, there isn't any gaps in the start zone and that zone. Same for the zone that leads outside, there isn't any gaps and I've never died while sprinting out the door while buying the debris. It's only for zone2, which is the kitchen and dining room area.
I'll do more tests and recheck radiant to make sure everything looks okay and see if I can figure out that problem.

You're right! I just tested it and I'm not sure why it's doing that. I tested it whenever I first added it and it did work. Thank you for letting me know, I'll work on it!
