A few notes about the map's functionality
  • For me at least, only one of the highways spawns active traffic (changes randomly which one). I've playtested the map and confirmed that despite the lack of active traffic, all of the connections will function just as they're supposed to. Just a weird quirk in the game. This might not affect your game, but it's something I came across.

  • The shipping routes might look "broken" in a sense that not all of the routes are interconnected to each other. However, this is on purpose; if the shipping routes are all interconnected, the ship AI goes bonkers and starts doing idiotic looping on the seas which obviously looks unnatural. Hence the unusual looking shipping routes.

  • The pre-built train station does function, but it might take a long while for trains to start visiting it. If you're having trouble getting any trains in even after a long wait, try reconnecting the train tracks to the station ends. Just a heads up; it might seem like there's duplicate networking going on but there's actually just an embankment network under the tracks to hide terrain glitching due to the mismatch in train tracks at the station.

  • Cargo and passenger harbors are in place to import cars to the island and help bringing some livelihood to the island in the early stages of the city's development.

  • You might want to reset the water level to sea level for screenshots, as the shallow coastlines have a tendency to start showing signs of evaporation after some time. That's just how the game works unfortunately. Alternatively, if you know a mod that allows for a constant sea level (i.e. disables the evaporation at sea level), use that! And please let me know if such a mod exists and I'll add it to the description!

Hello, I'm a player from China. I can't speak English. I use translation software, so I'm sorry if you have dyslexia. I like the map you made, but when I read this map, the computer will be blue. I want to know what the specific reason is? I really like this map. Thank you.

If the map loads into a blue screen, this would indicate that there is a mod or an asset missing. Double check that you have subscribed to every item in the required items collection and also check that all the mods and assets are set as 'active' in the content manager view in game. The most likely culprit for the issue you're having is a missing mod, as missing assets should not cause behavior like that.

To put it short: you're likely missing a mod, or there is a mod collision (meaning you have two mods active that are incompatible with each other). I hope this helps!
