Hey, couldn't figure out why the hairstyles are showing up as bald for me. Tried only this and Fluffy Hair, no luck. Tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to your mod, no luck. Also verified my game files with no luck. Hard to imagine what else it could be :(

Anyways, I'll stay subscribed in case anyone figures it out.

*EDIT* Also I launch through Steam so It's not a third party issue, at least in my case.

I'm really confused about all of this too... for now there's only three people to my knowing that had this bug and i don't know where that could come from.

Are you on Windows 10 ? If yes can you go to "C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2761200458\mods\Yaki's Hair Salon\media" and check if the files in "model_X" can open when you double click on them ? Normally they should open in 3d viewer.

I'm on Windows 11. And the models did load up just fine in the 3d viewer, albeit without textures but I'm assuming that's normal.

Hmm, maybe that's what glitching the mod ? I'm on Windows 10 personally

Had the same problem. Running Project Zomboid on Mac OS 10.14.6. Using a number of mods including Harry's Hair Mod and fix along with Spongie's Hair and Fluffy Hair with Improved Hair Menu. Those work, yours just shows as bald.

Weirdly I took a look at the your hairStyles.xml trying to see if there was a miss match with the names maybe an uppercase or lowercase issue. Didn't find anything.

However I did take a look at how Harry's Hair mod has their texture folder structured and it was just in textures. No hair folder in the textures folder.

So I thought I'd give that a shot?

I moved the textures out of the hair folder and removed any reference of that folder in your hairStyles.xml. Example: same for the Jessica texture.

It worked. They show up now. Not sure why but something to try.

Hopefully it helps anyone else having issues. As I said not sure how or why this worked. Not a Project Zomboid modding expert by any means. Might be a weird issue with those other hair mod and this one, who knows. Its strange that some are having this issue and others aren't.

Buggy hairstyles (example: Rochefort) when backpack is equipped.

@AlejoOo Can you tell me if it does the same thing with only this mod and Fluffy hair enabled ? I tried on my pc and it doesn't do that for me.

What mods do you have installed ?

@Yaki I tried only the mods (Fluffy hair and Yaki's Hair Salon) and I still have the same problem.

Really weird, i tried with every backpacks and i don't have that problem at all. Does it do it with every hair ?

With all the hair of the mod.
And I liked the hairstyles of the mod. :(

Did you try to unsub and resub to the mod and checking the game's file integrity ? I know it sounds like "Did you try to turn it off and on again ?" but sometimes it really does work ahah.

And for now i'm not really sure why it does that to you, you're the first one to tell me about this bug and i can't seem to be able to reproduce it :(
