I'm thinking about changing the Wizard into the Witch. The Witch will be a dark and evil themed caster/summoner. The Witch will have a tree devoted to summons, a tree devoted to magics that require a corpse to be cast, and a tree devoted to just normal evil-feeling magic.
The reason behind this is that I cannot seem to come up with ideas for making the Wizard better, plus there already is a magic-using class in the original game, it leaves me with very few options left. The Witch will be unique because of the different strategies and play styles that it will create.
Let me know if you think that this is a good idea below.
I've played alot of class mods and if you can make the witch interesting- i would be pleased
thank you.
Chain-bonuses might not be a possibility, from a modding standpoint, and a work standpoint. I really don't want to change any of the classes that I've finished, unless I don't like one of their skills or something. Don't get me wrong, I really like the idea, and I might include it in the Monk actually, that would be cool, but it might not be possible in the GUTS editor as well.
So, if I do include chain bonuses, they'll be in the Monk's skills!
Will you have 2 classes with the first name of "Witch"? i.e. Witch-doctor and Witch? maybe you might consider the name of- Magic-Chief? Rune-Speaker? Zombie-Lord?
I feel the Druid can be roughly explained as a cross-style of Hunter's missiles, Templar's buffs, and Blackguard's melee area...
So- will the Witch kinda be like a blend of Witch-doctor's zombies, corpse-required power buffs, and Netherlord's dark standard attacks? Or something else entirely?
