Patch 1.7.8 and We Need To Go Deeper
With this patch, one of the new features is that :
- We Need to Go Deeper/Mom’s Shovel/Ehwaz now feature a secret method to guarantee a crawlspace once per floor and no longer create them based on random chance

I will spoil this new feature : If you use We Need To Go Deeper on a decorative element on the floor, this will be create a crawlspace once per floor

Si I would like to know how this mod manage this decoratives elements , because when I see Caves or Catacombs in this mod (for exemple) I wonder if these improved visuals might make the use of this new feature very complicated

Besides making those elements look different the mod doesn't change them so it should work without any issues (that aren't in vanilla).
If I do find any problems I'll fix them in the next update though.
