I came up with some ideas but there is still more to come. I'll make more posts about my ideas. My first idea is that the player is a patient of a mental asylum suffering from salience syndrome aka schizophrenia. one night you awake in your cell,your door is somehow unlocked. as the door opens and the asylum seems empty. Questions race the player, should I escape, find out why it's empty? While escaping the player may or may not know that there character is schizophrenic. The player will of course will have jumpscares, puzzles, traps, and most importantly hallucinations. But one question remains. is this real or a figment of your mind? sounds like people had this idea alot I know.

I would love to see that actually, it's been done before, but I am more than convinced that you'd make a great map.

Awesome! I thought of the map name that I only know of but you can name whatever you want of course. I thought of Just Salience which goes with the new name of schizophrenia (salience syndrome) I'm still thinking of good ideas for more horror maps. I don't know how long the map will be but time will tell. Plus can't wait until the next map.

You're curiosity gets best of you to go to the no end house. plus is it worth to get 500 dollars by going through 9 rooms. Well no end house hides very dark surprises to the player.

What if someone had the idea to make a horror map in the catacombs, I don't know if anyone would take the idea but not sure what monster would be inside a underground maze full of dead remains.

Me and my friend today found out that many years ago ( this isnt the idea just yet) , The russians composed a sleep experiment, to see what humans look like and how they live after 100 days of no sleep!. Let me tell you, they look freakin creepy.
JUst go look it up yourself! "Russian Sleep Experiment" I know you have delt with creepy things before so this should be no problem.
My idea is:
Your an employe of the russian experiement, but something goes horribly wrong on the 96th day, just a few days before the experiment should have ended. The russian scientists were going to add the final variable : Darkness, but instead of adding darkness to the room, they added darkness to the whole facility. Then even worse, one of the test subjects of the no sleep experiment escaped the testing room, and shut off the power. The employe ( player) runs to join the others in escaping the facility, but when you jump to escape with them, the elevator goes up, and you fall down, down, deep down the elevator shaft.
You crash at the bottom of the elevator shaft and you faint.
(START OF MAP HERE)
At the bottom of the elevator shaft, you wake up with a badley injured leg and need medical attention. You need to escape the facility, but in order to call for help, you need to restart the power.
*youll create the scene* heres the setting
1) wake up at bottom with hurt leg
2) eventually find medical attention
3) Find weapons to fight test subjects
4) Fight test subjects and turn on the power
5) sneak around to find radio or something to contact help
6) ask for rescue
7) Run from test subjects and Escape facility
8) ESCAPE: HELICOPTOR OR ARMORED VEHICLE OR (This one will change the storyline) USE SIDE EXPERIMENT OF RUSSIANS- TELEPORTATION DEVICE
9) add some eastereggs and done
I would be willing to beta test this map but I have a crappy mac so i probably wouldnt be much of a help
