I have allowed the player to choose when they have completed the room. Once the Front door is unlocked. Attempting to make a break for it will show an ending for the player. All except the “True Ending” will give the player a choice to accept the outcome or to return to the house to continue. Below is a list of all the endings and how to encounter them.

Ending 1
Leave the house without retrieving your pants and without going into the cellar.
Ending 2
Leave the house after finding your pants but without your keys and without going into the cellar.
Ending 3
Leave the house after finding your pants and keys but without finding either your hat or shirt and without going into the cellar.
Ending 4
Leave the house after finding your pants, keys, hat, and shirt, but without going into the cellar.
Ending 5
Leave the house without retrieving your pants and without going into the cellar.
Ending 6
Leave the house after going into the cellar without finding your ID.
Ending 7
Leave the house after retrieving all your items. But without the final unknown item.
True Ending
Find all your items and use the mystery item in the final room to truly escape.

Finding your items is what dictates the ending you receive. Below are a list of the item locations.

Your Shirt!
Check under the pillows in the bedroom.
Your Pants!
Check the bottom freezer on the refrigerator.
Your Keys!
Check inside the grand clock in the downstairs.
Your Hat!
Check the locked tall wardrobe.
Your ID!
On the table in the cellar secret room.

Below is the location of Keys, the combination for the locks, and the solutions to the puzzles. I will provide first a hint and then the solution in the spoiler tags.

White Key
Bedroom Door
Hint:
It’s in the Bedroom.
Solution:
The bird has it.

Blue Key
Upstairs Hallway Door
Hint:
It’s in the Bedroom.
Solution:
It is on the night stand.

Green Key
Bathroom Door
Hint:
Its in the Downstairs.
Solution:
Solve the Reading list puzzle.

Red Key
Upstairs Closet Door
Hint:
Its in the Downstairs.
Solution:
Solve the tall wardrobe combination puzzle.

Front Door Key

Hint:
Its in the Bathroom.
Solution:
Solve the sink puzzle.

Cellar Key
Cellar Door
Hint:
It’s in the upstairs hallway.
Solution:
It is inside the puzzle box.

Tall Wardrobe combination lock
Hint:
Have you checked all the cabinets? Even the hanging ones?
Solution:
In the six hanging cabinets facing the front door, you’ll find plates with numbers on the back of them order the plates according to the plant life design on the front (Youngest to Oldest) and that is the combination.

Cellar Secret Room Combination Lock
Hint:
Have you found the note left by the Cellar’s previous tenant and noticed the swaths of colors on the combination lock?
Additional Hint:
Go to the Upstairs Hallway Door (facing the stairs down) and count the number of people in the painting you see note the color of key needed for this door. Do the same for the Upstairs Hallway Closet and the Bathroom.
Solution:
The lock needs Red, Blue, Green. So the order is the number of people in the paintings from the Closet (1), Stairs (4), then Bathroom (5).

Bird Puzzle
Get the Bird to drop the Key.
Hint:
That bird looks pretty hungry.
Solution:
Grab the Chinese Food next to the bed and place it on the bird perch.

Reading List Puzzle
To get the Bathroom Key
Hint:
I wonder what the best place to read an unread book would be?
Solution:
Find the Time to Die book in the bedroom and place it on the brown chair in the downstairs area. The key will appear on the light next to the chair.

Sink Puzzle
to get the Front Door Key
Hint:
We should try to unclog the sink.
Solution:
Get the wrench from the upstairs closet and use it on the pipe underneath the sink.

Puzzle Box
to get the Cellar Key
Hint:
You've seen some interesting figures around maybe think about while watching TV.
Solution:
There are 5 Figurines total but 4 specific ones are needed for the puzzle box. These can be found in the Upstairs Closet, The Tall Wardrobe, A Kitchen Drawer, and the Bathroom Cabinet. Using the Remote on the TV will show order they are needed on the puzzle box.

Final Room Puzzle
Get the true ending.
Hint:
Stuck in a wooden room? You’d need something pretty sharp to get out.
Solution:
You must have all your personal items before you are able to get into this room. Also you’ll need the ax from the cellar. Once you get into the final room say you have everything you need then use the ax on the kidnappers face.
