[1.] Why is Stats+ updating on every launch?
It's probably due to a Steam Workshop bug when you still have the legacy version of Stats+, namely Damage Multiplier Stat - to fix it, delete the old version directory in
[STEAM_DIRECTORY]/steamapps/common/The Binding of Isaac Rebirth/mods/damage-multiplier-stat_2729900570

[2.] Why are stats from Stats+ appearing twice and overlapping?
It's again related to the Steam Workshop bug that causes the old version to be enabled along with the new version. To fix it, apply the solution mentioned in [1.].
