You can try to run the mod manually and prevent the Cyprian Plague from firing.
Download the mod files from https://mods.paradoxplaza.com/mods/31816/Any and unzip into your \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Imperator\mod folder. [Unsubscribe from the Steam mod.]
Edit the \common\on_action te_custom_on_actions.txt file and delete this entire section:
te_custom_on_action_yearly_province_cyprian = {
trigger = {
current_date > 1001.1.1
current_date < 1014.12.31
has_global_variable = cyprian_plague_pandemic
}
random_events = {
50 = 0
50 = te_plagues.20
}
}
Also search for and delete these lines:
te_plagues.2
te_plagues.21
te_plagues.22
That should prevent the Cyprian Plague from firing.
I haven't seen the tag count run that high at that point in the timeline extender unless using another mod like AI Empires Collapse.
