Intermittent lag, not constant, but my laptop is quite a beast so I'd definitely say yes

Same thing happened to me. My game is lagging to ♥♥♥♥ and the same message keeps showing. "Pirates from The Grenade Men have given up and are leaving." keeps popping up but all the enemies are dead already.

Same. I managed to mob the ship and destroy it before the pirates piled out of it, which I suspect is where the problem is coming in.

That definitely wasn't the cause for me, the pirates had the chance to exit the ship and almost kill all my colonists in my encounter, lol

Nothing major to add, but I also experienced this issue. Made the game kind of unplayable. ended up unloading and reloading the mod to get rid of stuff while testing

I'm having same issues. I'm using Geological Landforms too. I don't have the fleeing message. Game does not lag if it's paused. Let's hope we get a fix soon.

@ymehr How long has it been since the Gauntlet raid. It takes time for them the ethereal raiders to get bored and leave, generating the issue.

I at least wasn't using Geological Landforms, my map was pretty open (just a base game ice map with large hills)

Wanted to add that I've also experienced the same issue. Had a Gauntlet raid land, managed to destroy one of the ships quickly. As soon as it exploded, the framerate dropped and stayed low.

A few in-game hours later, I started getting spammed with "Pirates from The Shotgun Vipers have given up and are leaving" messages.

I have this problem, 2 ship came to my base and the raiders decide to steal my things, killed some of the raiders, other scaped with my things and finally I destroyed the ships, and now the game is ultra lagged, unplayable, and I have a message repeating constantly "Junkers from the Shotgun men have give up and are leaving" but there are none on my map right now, anyone has a fix? I dont want to loose my colony

I reloaded to a save before the attack, tbh

Take a screenshot of your colony layout, your inventory, etc. Then use dev mode to reset the map while preserving all your colonists/animals, rebuild your colony using god mode piece-by-piece, and give yourself all the items you had.

Took forever but it worked...I also deleted previously mined ore veins to keep myself legit etc.
