Character/Item Balance Suggestions
If you have suggestions for any tweaks or balance changes for the characters/items, feel free to say that here. Everything in the mod is meant to be balanced around the vanilla game so keep that in mind.

This is not a place for just saying "this character/item sucks." Offer actual constructive criticism that you think would make the things in this mod better. Also just because you make a suggestion does not mean it's guaranteed to be added. If I don't reply to your suggestion it probably means it's not something I'm gonna add/change.

I have one suggestion for a tweak on Tainted Andromeda, give it like some form of brain worm, cause most than not some rooms are too large to kill some enemies and they take a lot of your time, not only that some enemies are just way to hard to kill specifically the ones who charge straight to tainted andromeda, since its firing mechanic is in a fixed spot. Also fix technology with tainted andromeda since its not firing from the dark hole but from T. Andromeda itself.

tech 2 + SPODE is really strong, like a soymilk of stars. I recommend a 50% damage decrease in spodes stars when holding Tech 2. It really is strong

Edit: even with base damage; SPODE plus tech 2.0 is a carry combo

I think Andromeda needs a familiar from the beginning. Maybe just a weak one, that can shoot straight ahead. I just now was in a room which was impossible to defeat so i used a bomb to get out.
The room was with the 2 spiders on the ground and 3 blind creeps over a gap on the wall. With the range of the orbiting tears it was impossible to hit them. And i had no familiar.
Or maybe if Andromeda had a chance to shoot straight ahead, or that Gravity Shift would stop your tears for a moment and then fling them in the direction you previously shoot?!

Of course these or balance changes, but andromeda is a great character and I would love to do some challenges with it, how about a challenge were the only items you can get are zodiacs or planetariums, or a challenge where you are an actual black hole who can only kill by touching enemies and absorbing them for stat boosts. Something a bit more, I completed the mod entirely and I would say 10/10, although I have yet to find what causes baby pluto's third evolution.

It's literally the only room with this problem. Also it's not possible to clear this room even with basic tiny planet on regular character, so it's just general game wack

Yeah, sorry realized it pretty much immediately after i posted this. I thought that you would have a problem with tiny planet too, that's why i never take it. Just wasn't sure if that's the only room.

Suggestion for the ludovico technique with T.andromeda
Instead of bypassing the black hole why not control the black hole? :D
it would work like the synergy of the eye of the ocult + ludo. Spawning tears meanwhile controling the black hole (tears would still be atracted to the player)

Hmm that's a cool idea. I'll keep that in mind for when I do proper synergies for mom's knife and tech x.
I have a suggestion to create some use for entering a treasure room as tainted andromeda. entering a treasure room is currently completely useless because the item inside will just be consumed by the black hole, then just to make it less pointless, instead of the item get consumed, it turn into a fully charge for his activate item singularity, the charge dosen't stack with his charge before entering, it will be very cool, just for the players have again the choice to entering a treasure room, or to have the chance to take a planetarium item.

It's probably just a result of how the game and other similar characters work, but health up items/eternal hearts being reduced to just +1 soul heart feels really bad. Would adding some other incentive to getting heart containers work (also gaining wisps, getting a black heart instead, gaining 1.5/2 soul hearts, etc.)?

Uhh that's just how soul heart only characters work. I don't see why either of them would get any special treatment for that. Although I am considering making health ups for T Andromeda turn into black hearts, similar to T Judas.

FEEDBACK: I played a lot of tainted Andromeda and really like the concepts but he also has some flaws.
1. You cant see rocks in the middle of the room due to the black hole, it should destroy the rock or be more transparent
2. in some rooms its impossible to not take damage especially with chasing enemies in narrow rooms
3. Andromeda seems to get few items, I had a lot of runs where I died in Womb due to being extremly underpowered(getting lots of active items/troll bombs)
4. maybe you should make the item use chaos like bethanys book
5. the active item is too complicated I still dont fully understand under what circumstances it gives a trollbomb
6.It would be nice to have a visual indicator to see if the next use of the item will result in a trollbomb (like the cracks when you use it in a planetarium)
7. Maybe add the ability to shoot diagonally
