Inject a 14 gauge, 5ML syringe of potent antipsychotic medication into the pupil of the affected individual's eye until symptoms subside.
If someone bothered to actually tell us how the curse works, I'm sure we could escape the thinking box without issue!
edit: I got it and have been wearing it, I joke not, for about one or two IRL hours worth of game time straight and haven't noticed any "curse" so...
What does a parasite look like?
I'm shocked no one has bothered to actually tell us what the side-effect even is. I understand some people enjoy a sense of "discovery", but some of us don't enjoy being left in the dark with no explanation especially when it comes to mods.
People have said that it can be countered but never bothered to mention what it is that needs to be countered in the first place.
To anyone still bothered by this, as far as I can tell without any clarification, the "worms" effect just makes you hear the endworm's roar without there actually being an endworm. If you play with the (way-too-loud) in-game music on you probably won't even notice it-- hence all the confusion.
I spent so long just seeing the effect in the Health Scanner and wondering in vain; does this attract monsters, does this reduce max-health, drain oxygen faster, make you heal slower, is there anyway to treat this unknown "effect", etc., etc.
only to be totally disappointed all together!
Maybe I'm wrong about what it actually does but I really can't understand why this was such a big secret to begin with... WTF, people?!
Any concept of discovery and experimentation seems to be lost to you, but please refrain from giving nonsense information about the function of the worms in your brain.
