It's very simple to make flatbread of any type as long as you have flour and yeast, and water + oil. Then anything extra like sugar etc. during the process is fine. It's not the goal to raise and make a proper bread loaf so literally as long as it's a doughy substance it'll work - so that could fit for a "Rugged" recipe given how accessible it is.
Use a stove/oven or a griddle pan to finalize the product, after creating with the prior. Sub-recipes for flavour etc maybe like salted flatbread. Not sure how much hunger value you'd put for it; in real life it's quite filling because it's so dense.
I am currently working on "Hardtack". That sound about right?
I do think jarring in the current game is under powered, but you lose some realism when you allow reusing jar lids. perhaps jar lids should be found in larger quantities like packs of 4, 8, or 12 and also found rarely on zombies that worked in supermarkets, and jarred vegetables should stay fresh for longer (like a year at room temp), that would balance it out.
Drik it make you happy and satisfies needs of water
or you can put it into a bottle instead of bowl idk is simple idea
Also would be nice to be able to smoke even already filleted fish!
no suggestions yet but just fyi a few images on the main mod page seem to be missing/broken links.
Also, home "canned" vegetables can last for a year or so. Canning and pickling are both great ways to store food.
ALSO HOW DID I FORGET PICKLED EGGS! I'm gonna add that hahahah.
