Don't forget no random crits
Well it's pretty well balanced, maybe a little overpowered. It might be better if it cannot deal random crits, to compensate for the stored crits.
Based on the description given itself, here's my suggestion.
PROS
-33% larger clip size (8 shots per clip)
-15% more damage
-10% faster firing speed
CONS
-20% less accuracy
-Every shot fired builds up 15% heat, and heat goes down by 10% per second when not firing weapon. If weapon overheats, the user is set on fire and the weapon is not usable for 15 seconds.
In other words, it's pretty useless if you're just randomly shooting. But with timing and aim, it can be deadly. But then again, it's usually your sentry that does the killing.
I'm getting kinda tired of seeing the whole heat build up thing and stored crits isn't anything new either. I myself can't think of anything off the top of my head right now but can you people plz try to be more original with these things because it's become quite obvious that valve doesn't like adding generic weapons with changed stats they look for mechanics (even though this will never be added and they sure as hell won't use community stats for it)

Cons:
-5% less firing rate
-Overheat process:Every bullet adds 5% heat and 10% heat are dropped every 2 seconds. If 100% heat is made, the gun can't be used for 25 seconds and the wearer has 10% more fire vulnerability
Other stats:
-Fires straight,not in spreading bullets
-"Assault Meter" added. Alt-Fire:activates the meter and the wearer deals mini-crits on target and crits on headshot for 8 seconds
-1000 damage dealt needed for meter
Is good enough? Need feedback on these stats
The Pros

I like the idea, but the PROS seems a little overpowered. But if it's for the primary weapon slot it's fine.
+50% more damage and it fires and slug not buckshot
-50% ammo pool (it looks like a tactical shotgun)
+Fires a three-round burst (that is quicker than shooting three individual shots)
-33% damage.
This changes the overal damage done from one clip of a shotgun from 360 to 240 (actual number is 241.2, but they could round it off at 240) , but this gun fires the damage quicker.
PROS
+Fires in a three-shot burst
+20% firing speed
+5% damage done
CONS
- Gun builds up heat over rounds fired (like the huntsman charging up), once meter is full, the user recieves -15 health and the gun is removed and can only be regain from a supply closet ( like the razorback )
Now not to offend, but this would fit better to the name.
