you have to use a mouse to select the buttons. I don't think there has been a implemented way to selected them on a controller.

Controllers don't quite work the way they're supposed to on the menus yet, but that's planned to be fixed in the next update. Part of those unfinished changes actually made it into yesterdays hot fix, so that may have helped things a bit, but it's not finished quite yet

Yes, but sometimes it doesn't allow mouse click.

I've been patching in changes and the controller updates are *mostly* in. But theres been an incredibly persistent bug with selecting the corner menu. If it wont select anything, you can open the pause menu, scroll up and down, and then close it, and that fixes it.
I should hopefully have if fully fixed soon
