Suggestions
State any suggestions you want in the addon and we may add it :)

Our current agenda (stuff that will likely happen):
-gwater_hose (or some kind of swep)
-Add gwater material to materials tab
-fix some gwater ents spawning in the ground
-set to default button inside of rendering tab in menu
-fix bugs in regard to the menu

Later agenda (stuff that likely wont happen, but are in mind):
-add a faster rendering alternative by hooking into dx9; this could double or even triple the current fps at max particles

my own list since i cant add to your comment:

- fire hydrant
- bottle that can be smashed and spills some water, was suggested by someone
- bucket that uses gwater.Blackhole and its return value to store up water (holding it at an angle spills the water)
- add gwater panic command to kill all gwater, disable render/simulation, set maxparticles to 0 and set render dist to 0

thats all i can remember rn

Could you add prerendered spheres as a particle texture option? Maybe soft spheres as well?

like the description says, the module from the github does all of the water simulation work on the gpu, so if you don't have it, you can't use gwater
the addon will try to simulate fake particles but besides that you should get the module

I have an idea, possibly a sponge that would soak up water upon contact and that water will be inside of the sponge and once that sponge is deleted or you press e on it all that soaked up water will get released in one direction very quickly at 100 particles per second maybe.

i have an idea, mabye an grate that allows gwater to go through but doesnt allow props, would make it cool for a sewer

that can be the gwater drain entity mee added

next update, in which we'll mostly focus on gwater interactivity (weapons and entities)
