In DynastyLegacy "Blood"
Heredity & Convergent Blood give both
-25% Inbreeding
+25% good trats
+25% bad traits <---


I am not sure if the last one is inteded to increase bad traits, as balancing or if it should be -25

AI will pick the Dynasty Perks really late (or in my case picks another added without requirement) ..-> resulting both in relatively weak AI.
My suggestion to that is remove requirements for AI Players - so they will pick any Dynasty and level it

Hi. Thanks for the feedback.

Both negative effects are intended, mainly to make Blood more interesting but also more challenging to play. As for the AI concerns - it's something that I'm working on. Next mod update will include a new game rule that lets the player control whether the AI is allowed to cheat or not, i.e. allowed to skip the legacy requirements or not.

Great mod and love the added gameplay of having to work to unlock the legacy perks.

I picked the 'Robber Barons' perk and noticed my dynasty members were spamming the Ruffian MAA to the exclusion of almost all other MAA types. I felt that was pretty immersion breaking.

Is there any way to tweak the AI's MAA recruitment preferences so that they stop going all in on these units?

Or maybe a rule to disable the custom units?

Something is definitely wrong. Most likely the AI weight for Ruffians that is a little off. I'll see about tweaking it and putting out a fix in the near future.

Maybe further down the line. My focus the coming weeks will be on updating the mod for Royal Court.

I suggest making a "lite" version of the mod, with the visual changes (icons etc) and the requirements for unlock, but not the legacy perk changes. Personally, that's all I would've wanted.

Requirements of Guile 2 Legacy is "Have a strong hook on a duke or a king"
Why not on a emperor?

and, AI recruit Ruffians too much.
I have two idea, decision that getting special army, or change as House Guard, only 1 regiment of Ruffians for 1 ruler

I love the changes this makes to dynasty legacies, they really feel rewarding to unlock now. Is there any way of encouraging AI rulers to appoint Seneschals? I like the flavour of "no AI cheating" but they often seem to get a bit stuck in unlocking the first level of the Society legacy. (edit to add: I wouldn't mind if the AI could cheat this single level tbh)
