Sorry for the late response.
The playermodel uses the default hitboxes and shouldn't interfere with combat gameplay, however I am unable to use my main PC and cannot give a 100% certain answer until I have access to it again.
I'll let you know as soon as I can.
A friend and I recently tried the model on a TTT test session and found it didn't have a headshot hitbox on the model.
Doing some research (and finding a youtube video with around 700 views), I found how to add proper hitboxes to the model. Here is the video link.
From that I figured all that needs to be done is to assign bones to hitbox groups.
Here is the end result I got. [i.imgur.com] (dismiss the missing textures I don't know how that happened.) This shouldn't take more than 20 minutes I think.
