How to use town outposts
I'm trying to get more recruits using a town, however whenever I remove a pawn that was recruited by a town they become a new non-mergable caravan of prisoners - meaning I can't merge them with an existing caravan, control their movement, or extract food from the town so they could survive

Same here. It seems the new townsfolk are generated as a part of another faction. When a raid happens the pawn is completely uncontrollable. Furthermore, the pawn seems to despawn from the town completely when the raid concludes.

Hi, unfortunately I have the same problem. Its looked like good way to solve problem with "working staff", but its not. I tried everythign I know to fix it, even to pack town with new recruits, but they are just desipeared after that.

Equally terrible is since those pawns still count as part of a different faction, you end up getting hit with a relationship malus for 'capturing our pawn' with the given faction. Very frustrating to see a friendly faction suddenly turn hostile because of that.

Same here, I've not a clue how this works. Even debug mode has no answer. Guess I wasted the pawns I sent to the town, since I sent them to the other side of the map and have no intention of getting them back. >_>
