Haven't tried building anything but the items do appear in world and in crafting menu but seems to only be single player it seems.

there is a mod update for this by another developer that makes it work in b41.78 (we had an existing save that we added this on our dedicated server and had to switch to this new mod).

I just started a playthrough with this and 100s other mods. Stuff spawns, mags spawns, and recipes show up on the crafting menu. I can update as I go on. Only thing I have noticed so far is the infected blood disappearing from my inventory, but not the tainted blood. I don't know if it's a bug or a feature, if anyone knows I'd love a heads up

Probably. The 41.78 mod works by itself, doesn't need older version and probably having two of them enable would conflict
