I really do love and hate aspects of the single aircraft in Arid.

I'm not 100% sure if the helicopter is a normal plane, gyro copter, or something in between, but I was just unhappy with the facts of losing yaw control (although I did find that you could hold right arrow and A key and achieve an anti torque motion), alongside basic controls. I found them being really wacky, such as trying to lower throttle and descend which projects you into the ground, and upon attempting to increase throttle to counter this, you get thrown forward, pushing you off your landing site.

Aside from the negatives, the mod developers really mastered the main idea of a helicopter being able to travel at great speeds upon the landscape, to which normally you'd only be travelling the speed that of normal car. This did really make more sense for the feel of the map due to the open and baron aspect.

In all, I was wondering how difficult it would be to combine the fast, and normal flight controls of the helicopter into one.

I think what happend to the heli controlls is bcs of the momentum update couple weeks ago
just take it`s ID 59206 go to single player and master it, it really doesnt take tak long i took brake from unturned for 2months came back cause of Arid and mastered the heli in 30minutes

Pressing S after entering the heli can cause some wacky ass stuff to happen i dont recomend it
