You can obtain it from fishing with a tier 6, it's a very slim chance but I'd say I've gotten it about 5 times?

STG at the moment is too rare, its spawn rate will be tweaked to be much more fair next update, happening most likely at the closest Friday. You might be pleased to hear there's also a shotgun coming with this update, it doesn't use buckshot but it should be very cool to use anyway.

Just found the SVD in ags19, made a jump to the ladder.

I got an stg but i retired it in a crate on a server after it went to 39% durability. It was fun playing with it but i got an aw12 and an tx45 from fort knell. Do i recomend the stg? Maybe. If you are a historian who is exicted about ww2 guns then yeah sure.

You can with some regularity fing STGs, and MP40s in the secret area of the bunker under the palace. Go to the medical room, and there will be a lamp shining on a crack in the wall. Shoot the crack a few times - entrance opened. Search all the containers and you'll probably get some classic gear.
