I keep getting this error, turns out that a few files had "." in the name but i fixed it. All files are pngs, none of them have special characters, the only ones being letters and spaces.
This is the error i keep getting:

I should also mention that I am able to use some of my custom image flags and most others I can't, when i try to use the flag loader it gives me the first error

I Added some readable error messages to cover these, you will no longer get "The Addon [...] is creating errors" in the top left
i also changed the description, files may not contain ".", or any special characters, this includes whitespaces

On multiplayer flags have a tendency to change back to default, when players get through map brushes. No lua errors appear.

idk if it's just me but "tw.png" and "gb-eng.png" just show the german flag instead

When I noclip out of the map my flags revert back. (im in multiplayer)
