I thought mabye it should shot like explosive arrows/bullets. have like a 2,3 second wait untill exploding. body shot 65 damage, head shot 110 damage, also the longer the charge the further it goes (charge does not affect damage), ahy, good idea?

Basically it would be a medium between bows and rifles as a crossbow should be. The arrows are more powerful and faster than those fired from a bow, but less powerful than rifle bullets since they don't benefit from a spiraled barrel (the definition of rifle).

Crossbows traditionally are very difficult to reload so it would take longer to do so, and since the arrows don't benefit from rifled grooves like bullets, zooming in would solely be for aiming, not to increase power. The mideval styled scope would have primitive technology compared to modern rifles and so it wouldnt zoom in as far, making aiming while zoomed more of a challenge by comparison, but still better at range than not zooming at all..

this should totally be a crossbow for the sniper, that way he can be even better on degroot keep
