The AK47 is extremely rare, but my friends have reported finding as many as 3 of them on the map which surprised me. There is a very good chance you will never find one. Currently without checking I believe the chance of spawn is about 0.02% chance and they can only be found in gun stores.

This was intended of course for realism, a fully automatic AK47 has historically been not very easy to find the US. Especially right after the AWB and NFA

I see, Tho i had been using cheat mod and teleported to all gun stores in the map, not a single ak found XD. anyway i think it's kinda pointless if you model a gun but it never spawns in map (at least for the new players), thanks for replying so fast :D

Haven't installed the mod yet but does it adds an option to set manually the spawnrates?

For me, this is the dumbest balance... Why create a weapon that you can't use is nonsense. Make a regular ak-47 and M4 spawn with a silencer.

Have found many AK spawns in the survivor hideout apartment building in march ridge

for the sake of fun, can you give us the option to change the spawn rates?
